We are thrilled to announce that we will be organizing the "Cyber Savvy Quiz: Test Your Knowledge of Cyber Security and Laws" for school students. This quiz is designed to promote awareness and education around online safety and legal issues related to technology. We believe that this quiz will be an exciting and engaging way for students to learn about these important topics that affect their daily lives.

There are numerous benefits to participating in this quiz. First and foremost, students will gain valuable knowledge and skills related to cyber security and laws. This knowledge will be useful not just in their personal lives but also in their future careers, where digital skills and awareness are becoming increasingly important.

Furthermore, by participating in the quiz, students will be incentivized to improve their academic performance. To be eligible for the rewards, students must pass the quiz with a minimum score of 70% and achieve a minimum of 70% in their academics. This will encourage students to study harder and perform better in their academic subjects as well.

The rewards themselves are also a significant benefit of participating in the quiz. Students who pass the quiz with 70% or higher and achieve 70% or more in their academics will receive a 70% fee waiver. Similarly, students who pass the quiz with 80% or higher and achieve 80% or more in their academics will receive an 80% fee waiver.

 

For students who excel in both the quiz and their academics, there is an even more exciting prize in store. Those who pass both with 90% or higher will receive a 100% fee waiver and a cash prize of Rs. 5000.

In addition to these rewards, all participants will also receive a certificate of participation. This certificate will serve as a valuable addition to their academic record and can be included in their portfolio when applying for further education or employment opportunities.

Additionally, all participants who score 60% or higher in the quiz will be eligible for a free coding course for kids using Scratch.

To help students prepare for the quiz, we have made study materials available on our website that cover all the topics that will be tested. We encourage all students to make use of these study materials and to attend all the seminars that are organized by the Indian Cyber Squad to cover all topics and gain more insights from experts in the field.

The syllabus for the Cyber Savvy Quiz covers a wide range of topics related to cyber security and laws. Here's a brief outline of the syllabus:

1. Cyberbullying: understanding what cyberbullying is, the different types of cyberbullying, and its effects on victims.

2. Online privacy: learning how to protect personal information online, understanding the importance of passwords, and understanding the risks of sharing personal information on social media platforms.

3. Digital theft: understanding different types of digital theft such as phishing, hacking, and identity theft, and learning how to protect against these crimes.

4. Cybercrime laws: understanding the different laws related to cybercrime, such as the IT Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008.

5. Online safety for children: learning about the risks and dangers of the internet for children, understanding the importance of parental supervision and guidance, and learning how to educate children about online safety.

6. Cybersecurity measures: understanding different cybersecurity measures such as antivirus software, firewalls, and encryption.

These are the main topics that will be covered in the quiz, and all questions will be based on the study materials available on our website. We encourage all participants to thoroughly review the study materials and attend the seminars organized by the Indian Cyber Squad to cover all topics in depth and gain a better understanding of the subject matter.

2. The dates for the seminars will be shared via email and will also be communicated through phone calls. It is important for all participants to attend these seminars as experts will be sharing valuable insights on the topics covered in the quiz.

4. After completing the seminars, a test quiz will be shared with all the participants. It is important to attempt this quiz to assess your knowledge and identify areas that require improvement.

5. Finally, the link to the final quiz will be shared on the given date. Attempt the final quiz to put your knowledge to the test and compete for exciting rewards.
